Another one bites the dust
Mike, a college friend of mine and former roommate, got married today. Poor bastard couldn’t hang on for a few more years. He almost made it to his 30’s without getting hitched and tied down.
His new wife Danielle is in all seriousness a very sweet and kind girl and I wish them the best. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have made the trek to the Inland Empire to attend.
The food was supposed to be chicken cordon bleu, but it was in reality an oversized and glorified chicken nugget. What looked delicious was when first served turned out to be somewhat tasteless. Much salt was used I assure you. The accompanying steamed veggies were soft, so no undercooking there. The side of American rice mixed with small bits of nuts had an interesting texture to it, but like its partners in crime, was also ultimately tasteless.
In addition to Mike, several other college classmates and friends also appeared for the occasion, including Steph’s former college roommates. We all caught up a bit, laughed a bit, made fun of each other a bit. Good times were had by all.
And the dress Steph wore to the wedding made her look smokin’ hot.
