Dinner & a movie
The dinner at Lazy Dog Cafe below was from last night. They seated us at a booths for two, but I loved it because the booths were up high. I actually had to hop onto the seat, which was fun for me. =P I love how every time our server comes by to see how we’re doing (at any restaurant), my mouth is usually stuffed because they happen to walk by right as I take a bite of my food.
Later, Wes had his plate taken away and I was still working on my nachos when another server came up to us with two more plates, asking if they were ours. I was a bit puzzled since I was still eating, but I guess my meal was technically an appetizer. It just would’ve been funny if they hadn’t cleared Wes’ plate of pork chops…we’d look like pigs. Hmmm, we should’ve just said, “Um, yeah…those are hours.” =P
Best part about finishing my meal? Not dessert, but Wall•E!!!!! I finally got to watch it! He’s sooooooo cute!! Yes, he’s got shades of Johnny 5 from Short Circuit (“Johnny 5 is alive…” =P) but Wall•E is still adorable! The movie was even sprinkled with little Apple easter eggs! I think Wes and I (along with maybe one or two others in the audience) got those little jokes because we were the only ones laughing out loud. So sad, haha.
