My name is Steph and my boyfriend is named Wes. Our friend started us on this habit of photographing our meals before digging in, and we realized as we looked over these pics that every meal encompassed so much more than simply filling our stomachs. Meals are so central to our daily lives; a place to connect, reminisce, and enjoy the company at hand.

Red Velvet Chocolate Cake with Cream Cheese Icing and Vanilla Ice Cream
Upon reaching my goal weight of 160 lb. and dropping 2.25% of a ton, I wanted to celebrate by eating the most unhealthy food I could imagine. Thinking back to the college days, there was nothing more fattening yet mouth-wateringly delicious than the freshly fried fare of TGI Fridays. Hitting the newly remodeled location in Brea, Steph and I had between the two of us the following: mojito, berry slush, fried mozzarella sticks, Jack Daniels bacon cheeseburger, Jack Daniels BBQ chicken, french fries, sweet potato fries, baked potato with mounds of butter, and the monstrosity of caloric content you see pictured above. Total calories consumed was well in the 4k range, and satisfaction was off the charts.
